Brescia Onwusah (pronounced Bree-sha) is the founder of Divine Black Girl, a ministry dedicated to affirming Black girls and women in their God-given identity. She is a wife and a proud boy mom of four.

Her personal spiritual journey led her to the discovery of her D.I.V.I.N.E. nature, inspiring a lifelong passion for encouraging Black girls and women to see themselves as fearfully and wonderfully created. What began as personal conversations and community mentoring evolved into a calling to intentionally build a sisterhood rooted in confidence, purpose, and community.

In 2025, Brescia launched Divine Black Girl to celebrate, inspire, and empower Black girls and women to apply D.I.V.I.N.E. principles to every area of life.

A Virginia native now living in Raleigh, North Carolina, Brescia holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Administration from North Carolina Wesleyan University.

Beyond ministry, she loves fashion and music as creative expressions of identity and joy. She is the curator of Divine Vintage, a thrift boutique featuring modest fashion, and the creator of Divine FM (Divine Feelgood Music), a playlist inspired by her belief that music has the power to heal, uplift, and inspire.
